Some tasks require more power than others (like carrying a full load vs an empty load) and can impact runtimes. 

A life cycle is the number of times that battery can be charged & discharged before needing to be replaced with a new battery.

With a 24V system, we're able to sufficiently power the ES800 for a full day, while not sacrificing power and the time it takes to recharge.

Extreme weather can impact a batteries performance. Temps below 32 degrees will decrease runtime, while temps above 120 also impact runtime.

• How Long Does the ES800 Run? The Specs Say Up to 6-8 Hours: Great question! The "6-8" hours is by no means an attempt to confuse you. The simple answer is that no power source (fuel, battery, or otherwise) has a definite runtime. What you're doing with the machine will determine how much fuel or battery is drained. Hauling the max load the dumper can carry each trip will drain the battery faster than lighter loads. 
• Why Does It Take 5-6 Hours to Charge?: We make sure to allow you to recharge the ES800 with only one (1) standard 110v electrical outlet.  There is no need to try to find 220v or 480v/3phase electric onsite.  You can now take your machine to any jobsite and recharge overnight with no issues.  Come back in the morning ready for another day of safe and efficient work
• Is the ES800 as Strong as a Diesel or Gasoline Powered Dumper?: Yes it is! Unlike some other electric dumpers, we do not skimp on the components that make our machine. We ensure that our dumpers are outfitted with the highest quality components to give you the power necessary for the toughest construction or demolition job sites.
